We were going to go somewhere else but the line was too long. We found El Puente and I'm glad we did. My drink glass was never empty and the food was amazing. Chips and Salsa was great too!

El Puente is your home cooked quality Taco Bell. The food is much better than Taco Bell because it's home cooked. I say it's like Taco Bell because it seems like they sit you quickly and send the food right out. The prices are still reasonable considering the pounding we've been taking from Bidenomics. This bidenflation has really increased the restaurant prices overall

We love the most recommended Mexican restaurants on n Springfield, but El Puente in Nixa is the consistent contender that meets our cravings. Staff are top notch, food is consistent and satisfies the cravings for Mexican food. I'm glad they are close to home

I've gone to this place, since it first opened in the south side of Springfield. The place has always been a solid authentic restaurant in Springfield. Always a good meal; good service and a good value for the money. Salsa: One of the better, some would say, best in town. Chips: They're good enough and the kind of chip you'll see at many places. A thicker style chip, non-greasy etc. Enchiladas: a real good tasting ground beef with a good red sauce. Tamales: These are excellent and have quite the great taste. Rice & beans: The prototypical end product you'd expect. Catering need?: I used this place once recently, based on my wife having this (brought in) at her office. I think it was $10 or $11 a head - and it was a great value; tasted really great; tons of food! The service is always fast and the kitchen knocks it out pretty good, most every time. The place itself is always clean and comfortable. I always suggest folks go to El Puente!

This is a nice, clean and friendly restaraunt. The service is good, attentive and well prepared to take care of you. They just upgraded some seating and they make great effort to ensure the dining area is clean. The Mexican food - from tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and chimichanga's are all good and prepared when ordered. This is not a novelty location that promotes out of the ordinary cuisine. They just serve very good Mexican dishes The food they bring to the table not only tastes good but it looks like what is pictured in the menu. We started eating here a few weeks ago and average about 1-2 times a week of going there now to dine and obviously we love it. For starters I'd like to address something I see in negative reviews and that is menu and pricing on yelp. PLEASE always look for a company website and/or call to check about menu and pricing BEFORE ordering. I am pretty positive the company doesn't generate that info or at least doesn't always and if someone working there did add the info it could be years old. I can tell you by glancing the menu on yelp is much smaller than the actual menu and prices are totally off. Please stop blaming the business, most of the time they can't do anything about what's here, info or reviews. Always a good rule of thumb to check with the establishment or at least go to their website if they have one. To that end here you go people, it took me less than 10 seconds to look up on the internet and see the entire current menu and might I add you have to call to place an order if not dining in so be safe and ask questions upfront instead of blaming the company for outdated random info. https://elpuentemexicanrestaurant.com/menu/ The staff is always warm and friendly and you're given chips and salsa almost immediately followed by your drinks. Depending on how busy they are, and I will say if you're going in the evenings or on weekends it can be pretty packed, someone will come to take your order as quickly as possible without being pushy. They are helpful if you have questions or would like suggestions. There is a very large menu with tons of options including vegetarian for those like me. The food is always amazing from presentation to taste. If you leave there hungry you have done something wrong. Prices are average and not terribly overpriced especially for the amount you get. I've rarely ordered the same thing twice so I'm not sure why limited vegetarian options is listed on yelp, even if it's not listed on the menu as vegetarian you can change nearly any item to be easily. I'm not aware of vegan options at this time but plenty of regular and vegetarian to choose from. If I'd clean inside and out and there is lots of room and tables. You can easily get to go orders and there's seating to wait. They offer lunch and drink specials every day of the week as well that are great. Give it a try if you want some delicious Mexican food in Nixa.

Eat here El Castille is the go to!! Carry out, dine in and call in orders have always turned out perfectly!!! The food is fresh and fast for a restaurant of this capacity! Great for smalll and large groups!
